Location: Chennai – Work from Office

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹23,000 per month

Shift: Rotational Shifts | Two Rotational Weekly Offs

About the Role

We are looking for a Chat Support Team Lead to manage and guide our customer support team handling live web chats for an Australia-based client.

The ideal candidate should have solid communication, leadership, and team-management skills, with the ability to maintain service quality and achieve team performance targets.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the Chat Support team.
Monitor team performance, productivity, and quality standards.
Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to improve performance.
Monitor customer chats and ensure qualified and accurate responses.
Handle customer and team escalations effectively.
Conduct team briefings and communicate process updates.
Track attendance, productivity, and quality metrics.
Prepare basic performance reports using MS Excel.
Support the training and onboarding of new team members.
Coordinate with management to ensure smooth operations.
Identify performance gaps and take corrective actions when required.

Requirements
Any graduate.
Experience in Chat Support, Customer Support,



or Customer Service.
Previous team-handling or supervisory experience is preferred.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Good leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to motivate, coach, and manage a team.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends.
Must be willing to work from the Chennai office.
Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period preferred.
