About the Role

Extrusure is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern who can support technical clarification and coordination for industrial machinery, spare parts and feed processing equipment inquiries.

This is not a typical design or manufacturing internship.

When a customer sends us an inquiry, the intern will help understand the requirement, identify missing information, ask the right technical questions, collect drawings, photographs, dimensions or equipment nameplate details, and coordinate with our suppliers before a quotation is prepared.

You will initially work closely with our Technical and Commercial Head and gradually learn how to handle routine technical clarifications independently.

What You Will Do

- Review customer inquiries for machinery and spare parts
- Understand exactly what component or equipment the customer requires
- Identify missing technical information before sending an RFQ to suppliers
- Communicate with customers to request photographs, drawings, dimensions, nameplates, operating conditions and other required details
- Coordinate technical clarification with overseas suppliers
- Compare customer requirements with supplier responses
- Maintain proper records of technical discussions and specifications
- Assist in preparing quotations and technical offers
- Follow up until the technical requirement is sufficiently explicit for commercial quotation
- Learn feed mill machinery, extrusion equipment and common spare parts used in the industry

Preferred Background

- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Fresh graduates and final year students may apply
- Exposure to animal feed plants, feed mill machinery, pellet mills, extruders, pulverizers, hammer mills, conveyors, gearboxes,



motors or industrial spare parts is highly preferred
- Previous internship or work experience in an animal feed plant, machinery manufacturer, equipment supplier or maintenance department will be a major advantage
- Ability to understand mechanical components, dimensions, drawings and equipment photographs
- Comfortable speaking with customers and asking technical questions
- Good written English for communication with international suppliers
- Willingness to learn quickly and take ownership of inquiries

Who This Role Is Best For

We are especially interested in someone who is curious about how machines work and is comfortable investigating a technical requirement instead of simply forwarding messages.

For example, if a customer asks for a gearbox, screw, die, roller, motor or other spare part, we expect the person to gradually learn how to determine:

What machine is it for?

What is the make and model?

Is a nameplate available?

Are dimensions required?

Is a drawing or photograph available?

What material or specification is required?

What information does the supplier need before confirming the correct part?

You do not need to know everything from day one. What matters is having the mechanical foundation, curiosity and ability to learn how to ask the right questions.

Industry Preference

Candidates with exposure to animal feed manufacturing, poultry feed, aqua feed, feed mills or feed processing machinery will receive preference.
