We are looking for a Market Representative to develop and manage the Pune district market for our dermatology and skin-care product portfolio.

The primary responsibility of this role will be to conduct market research on dermatologists, skin clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, distributors and competing derma products, while developing strong professional relationships with skin specialists and other relevant healthcare professionals.

The candidate will be responsible for collecting reliable market intelligence from Pune and converting it into actionable business opportunities for the company.

Key Responsibilities1. Dermatologist & Skin-Doctor Mapping

- Identify and prepare a database of dermatologists, cosmetologists, skin specialists and relevant doctors across Pune district.
- Map doctors according to area, clinic/hospital, specialty, patient profile and practice potential.
- Identify leading dermatology clinics, hospitals and skin-care centres.
- Conduct regular visits to doctors and understand their product preferences and treatment practices.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with dermatologists and healthcare professionals.

2. Derma Product Market Research
- Study the demand for dermatology, skin-care, cosmetic and therapeutic skin products in Pune.
- Identify commonly prescribed and recommended products in different categories.
- Track competing brands, product composition, price, pack size, availability and market positioning.
- Collect information regarding doctors' preferences, patient requirements and emerging skin-care trends.
- Identify gaps in the market where the company's products can create a competitive advantage.

3. Market & Competitor Intelligence




- Conduct field surveys across major areas of Pune district.
- Gather information on competitor companies, brands and their sales activities.
- Monitor competitor pricing, schemes, promotional activities and product launches.
- Identify major distributors, stockists, pharmacies and retailers dealing in derma products.
- Submit regular market-intelligence reports to the Head Office in Varanasi.

4. Business Development
- Identify potential doctors and institutions for introducing the company's products.
- Generate new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Support product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with distributors/stockists to improve product availability.
- Monitor product movement and market response.
- Achieve assigned sales and market-development targets.

5. Data Collection & Reporting The representative will maintain an updated database containing:
- Doctor's name and specialization
- Clinic/hospital name and location
- Contact details, where legitimately available
- Practice profile and approximate patient footfall
- Relevant product categories prescribed/recommended
- Competing brands being used
- Distributor/stockist information
- Pharmacy availability
- Product pricing and market feedback
- Potential business opportunity
- Visit history and follow-up status

Pune Market Coverage The representative will be expected to systematically cover important Pune district markets, including Pune city and surrounding commercial/medical clusters, and progressively expand coverage based on market potential.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
