What Youll Be Doing (position summary):

The FX Analyst is responsible for supporting the Global Money Transfer team by managing complex, ambiguous, and high-risk transactional investigations for banking centres. The role provides dispute resolution and operational support related to compliance, sanctions, and reversals, while contributing to client-centric, creative, and streamlined service delivery

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):
- Conduct complex transactional investigations and analyze high-risk or ambiguous cases related to foreign exchange and money transfer operations
- Provide dispute resolution support to the GMT Operations team, including investigations involving compliance, sanctions, and payment reversals
- Communicate clearly with internal and external partners to clarify issues, obtain required information, and confirm resolution




- Prioritize and organize workload effectively to ensure deadlines are met and pending items are reviewed regularly
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate operational activities and maintain service quality
- Use Microsoft Office tools, including spreadsheets and formulas, to support investigation, analysis, and reporting activities

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Regular interaction with internal CIBC employees, teams, and departments to obtain, provide, and clarify information

COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As an employee of CIBC, the incumbent must comply with all applicable CIBC and Line of Business policies, standards, guidelines and controls

AUTHORITIES/DECISION RIGHTS:
