Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions using up-to-date frameworks and agile practices. You will also participate in problem-solving discussions and contribute to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.

- Experience supporting ongoing operations or support projects (DevOps exposure is a plus).
- Experience in working on RFPs, participate in solutioning calls.
- Monitor operational KPIs and recommend process improvements.
- Regular client interaction experience, including handling day-to-day communication.
- Experience leading and mentoring small to mid-sized teams (5–8 members).
- 12+ years of experience
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes: Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Picking, Packing, Shipping.
- Very strong experience in MAWM / MWOS / Active Scale
- Proactive experience, ability to build extension packs in MAWM is a plus.
- Experience with Labor Management (LM) is an advantage.
- Experience with Slotting is a plus.
- Understanding of Manhattan SCI (Supply Chain Intelligence) is a plus.
- SQL knowledge for debugging
