: Internal Auditor (Full time)

Location: Salt Lake, Kolkata

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Internal Auditor to join our team on a full time basis. The role involves evaluating internal controls, financial processes, and compliance procedures to help the organization operate efficiently and mitigate risk.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and report on internal audits across departments/functions

Review and assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes

Verify financial records, transactions, and statements for accuracy and compliance Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and areas of financial/operational risk

Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, observations, and actionable recommendations

Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies Coordinate with various departments to gather data and support audit activities

Assist in developing and updating audit checklists, SOPs, and internal control frameworks Support statutory/external auditors as required

Requirements





Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field

1–4 years of relevant experience in internal audit, accounts, or finance function

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and audit procedures

Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting/ERP software (Tally, SAP, etc.) preferred Strong analytical, observational, and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills, both written and verbal

High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

Ability to manage multiple audits/tasks within timelines Good to Have (Not Mandatory) Pursuing or qualified CA / CS (or equivalent) will be considered a strong plus

Prior experience in an audit firm or internal audit department

What We Offer

Fixed monthly salary of ₹40,000 – ₹45,000
