Role Description The Installation Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role is responsible for installing, erecting, and commissioning industrial air pollution control and extraction systems at client locations, following technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site assessments, supervising equipment placement and alignment, performing electrical wiring and mechanical assembly, and coordinating with project and service teams to ensure timely completion.

The Installation

Engineer will test system performance,



troubleshoot installation issues, support maintenance activities, and provide basic operational guidance to customers. The role also involves preparing installation reports, maintaining documentation, and adhering to company quality and safety procedures.

Qualifications

- Robust equipment installation and commissioning skills, including hands-on experience with industrial machinery and extraction systems.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and electrical wiring for industrial equipment, including reading and interpreting electrical diagrams.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles related to fabrication, assembly, mounting, and alignment of mechanical components.
- Experience in maintenance of industrial systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layout plans, and manuals.
- Strong adherence to safety practices and familiarity with industrial safety standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project, service, and customer teams.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and work in industrial environments as required.
- Prior experience in air pollution control, ventilation, or industrial vacuum systems is an advantage.
