Position: IT Support

Location: Symbiosis Bengaluru Campus

Experience: 4–5 Years

Key Responsibilities
Provide L1/L2 technical support to faculty, staff, students, and administrative teams.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, projectors, and other IT equipment.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and application-related issues.
Provide support for LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and basic network connectivity.
Manage user accounts, system access, email configuration, and IT-related permissions.
Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure across classrooms, offices, labs, and other campus facilities.
Support AV equipment, video conferencing systems, smart classrooms, and online meeting platforms.
Maintain IT asset records, inventory, service records, and documentation.
Coordinate with vendors and external service providers for hardware, software, networking, and maintenance requirements.
Ensure timely resolution and proper tracking of IT support tickets and user complaints.
Assist in implementing IT security, antivirus, backup, patching, and data protection practices.
Support recent system installations, upgrades,



software deployments, and IT infrastructure projects.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
Provide technical support during campus events, examinations, meetings, and academic activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related field.
4–5 years of relevant experience in IT Support / Technical Support / IT Infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, hardware and software troubleshooting.
Good understanding of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
Knowledge of IT asset management and troubleshooting methodologies.
Familiarity with CCTV, biometric systems, printers, projectors, and video conferencing systems will be an advantage.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
Solid problem-solving and customer-service orientation.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
