Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain proper books of accounts.
Record and verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, receipts, payments, debit notes, and credit notes.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Prepare and verify customer and supplier ledgers.
Perform bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
Handle petty cash transactions and maintain proper supporting documents.
Prepare payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, journal entries, and other accounting documents.
Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding invoices, payments, outstanding balances, and account statements.
Prepare and maintain outstanding reports and ageing statements for management review.
Verify purchase orders, invoices, delivery documents, and supporting documents before processing payments.
Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Stores, HR, and other departments for accounting-related requirements.
Assist in monthly,



quarterly, and yearly closing activities.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

GST & Statutory Compliance
Positive knowledge of GST accounting and GST compliance.
Verify GST details in purchase and sales invoices.
Assist in preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and other applicable GST returns.
Reconcile purchase data and GSTR-2B.
Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and returns.
Maintain proper records for GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities whenever required.
