Junior Draughtsman

BuildOwn is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Draughtsman to join our Design & Technical team. This prospect is ideal for freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are looking to build a career in construction, architecture, and technical drafting.

The selected candidate will work closely with Senior Draughtsmen, Architects, Engineers, and Project Teams to prepare accurate technical drawings and provide drafting support throughout various stages of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
Assist Senior Draughtsmen, Architects, and Engineers in preparing technical drawings.
Prepare plans, elevations, sections, layouts, and detailed drawings.
Assist in preparing architectural, civil, structural, and construction drawings.
Make drawing revisions based on instructions from the design and project teams.
Ensure drawings are accurate, properly dimensioned, and compliant with project requirements.
Coordinate with site teams to understand drawing requirements and incorporate necessary updates.
Maintain proper drawing files, revisions, and project documentation.
Assist in preparing as-built drawings when required.




Follow company drafting standards, drawing procedures, and project timelines.
Provide day-to-day drafting support to the Design & Technical team.

Requirements
Diploma, ITI, or Degree in Civil Engineering, Draftsmanship, or a related field.
0–1 year of experience in drafting; freshers are welcome to apply.
Valuable working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
Basic understanding of architectural, civil, and construction drawings.
Ability to read and understand plans, elevations, sections, dimensions, and technical details.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer knowledge.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn, take guidance, and work collaboratively with senior team members.

Preferred Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
Basic knowledge of construction drawings and building detailing.
Understanding of architectural and civil drafting standards.
Ability to coordinate effectively with Architects, Engineers, and Site Teams.
Good organizational and time-management skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
