Role Description The Industrial Electrician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata.

The Industrial

Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across construction and industrial project sites, including panels, wiring, motors, and control systems. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, performing routine inspections, identifying faults, and carrying out corrective actions to ensure safe and reliable operation. The role involves troubleshooting electrical issues,



conducting preventive maintenance, adhering to safety standards and regulations, and coordinating with site engineers, supervisors, and other technical staff.

The Industrial

Electrician will also document work performed, support commissioning activities, and assist in optimizing electrical systems for efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid foundational knowledge of electricity and industrial electrical systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in maintenance & repair and preventive maintenance for electrical equipment and installations.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in troubleshooting electrical faults and diagnosing issues in complex systems.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in electrical wiring, cable routing, and installation of panels and fixtures.
- Relevant technical qualification (e.g., ITI, Diploma in Electrical, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated understanding of electrical safety standards, regulations, and best practices in industrial environments.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Previous experience as an industrial or construction electrician will be considered an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and readiness to work on-site at active project locations.
