We are seeking a detail - oriented HR Data Administrator to support the Essential Data Project by maintaining accurate employee and payroll data within the HRIS. The role will process employee lifecycle updates, ensure data quality, follow defined processes and approvals, and handle sensitive information confidentially.
This is a strictly contractual position for the duration of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS, including new joiners, leavers, job, pay and organisational changes.
- Validate information and ensure required approvals and supporting documents are in place.
- Apply defined data standards, business rules and decision matrices.
- Identify and escalate incomplete, unclear or inconsistent information.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure data accuracy.
- Maintain trackers, logs and records of completed and outstanding activities.
- Provide regular updates on progress, issues, blockers and risks.
- Handle HR and payroll data in line with data protection and information security requirements.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Skills Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data validation and pivot tables.
- Experience in data entry, HR administration, payroll or similar administrative roles.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
- Ability to follow processes and work with spreadsheets and data trackers.
- Ability to identify when clarification or approval is required.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
