Labour Room Staff NurseJob Overview

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Staff Nurse to join our Labour Room team. The candidate will provide quality nursing care to mothers and newborns and support the smooth functioning of the department.

Key Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to antenatal, labour, and postnatal patients.
Assist doctors during normal and assisted deliveries.
Monitor maternal and fetal condition and record observations accurately.
Prepare patients and equipment for procedures and delivery.
Administer medicines and treatments as prescribed.
Assist with emergency care when required.
Provide immediate care and support for newborns as per hospital protocols.
Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
Ensure proper handover and communication with the concerned team.
Maintain cleanliness, safety,



and infection-control practices in the Labour Room.
Check and maintain necessary equipment and supplies.
Coordinate with doctors and other departments for patient care.

Requirements
Qualification: GNM / B.Sc Nursing
Relevant experience in a Labour Room / Maternity Department preferred.
Valuable clinical knowledge and communication skills.
Ability to work in shifts.
Responsible, caring, and team-oriented approach.
