About the Role

We are looking for a Market Research & Operations Intern to work closely with the team on research, recruitment operations, data, and day-to-day business execution.

This role suits someone who likes understanding industries and companies, working with data, staying organised, and improving processes.

What You’ll Do

Market & Business Research
Research industries, companies, hiring trends, competitors, and emerging business opportunities.
Build lists and databases of companies, decision-makers, and potential clients.
Conduct research to support RemDesk’s business development efforts.
Research talent markets for recent roles and industries before recruitment begins.
Analyse job-market information such as compensation, candidate availability, experience levels, and competitor hiring.
Turn research into short, actionable insights for the team.

Recruitment & Operations
Help manage active hiring mandates and keep recruitment trackers up to date.
Coordinate candidate information,



interview stages, feedback, and follow-ups.
Maintain accurate internal databases and documentation.
Work with the recruitment team to ensure candidates and requirements do not fall through the cracks.
Assist with sourcing and initial candidate research when required.
Track operational metrics such as profiles shared, interviews scheduled, offers, joining status, and closures.
Help improve internal processes and identify areas where the team can work faster or more efficiently.
Support day-to-day business operations and special projects directly with the founder.

What We’re Looking For
Robust research and analytical skills.
Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and structured data.
Very organised and detail-oriented.
Valuable written and verbal communication.
Ability to research independently and summarise information clearly.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change.
Interest in startups, recruitment, consulting, strategy, or business operations is a plus.
Most importantly, someone who takes ownership and follows through on what they start.
