Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new client relationships, nurturing existing accounts, and expanding Raphael Consulting’s presence across technology recruitment markets.

Day-to-day activities include prospecting and outreach, conducting meetings and client presentations, understanding hiring requirements, and collaborating with the recruitment team to deliver suitable talent solutions.

The Business Development

Manager will negotiate terms, prepare proposals, track sales pipelines, and meet defined revenue and business growth targets. The role also involves market research, competitor analysis, and continuous engagement to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications
Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management.
Client relationship management experience,



with the ability to understand client needs, present solutions, and negotiate contracts.
Exposure to IT recruitment or HR consulting, with an understanding of technology roles and hiring processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at multiple stakeholder levels.
Analytical and organizational abilities for market research, reporting, and planning business growth strategies.
Ability to work independently, meet targets, and collaborate within a cross-functional team workplace.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Prior experience in business development or sales within recruitment, staffing, or skilled services is preferred.
