Role & responsibilities
Manage and lead the overall online counselling/admission team.
Develop strategies to improve lead conversion and admission numbers.
Monitor team performance against daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Guide Team Leaders and Counsellors in effective student counselling and follow-ups.
Ensure proper handling of leads through calls, WhatsApp, and other online communication channels.
Analyse counselling performance, conversion ratios, follow-up reports, and lead quality.
Conduct regular training, coaching, and performance reviews for the counselling team.
Handle escalated student queries and support the team in closing difficult cases.
Ensure counsellors have proper knowledge of courses, universities, eligibility, fees, and admission processes.
Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to improve lead quality and admissions.
Prepare and present MIS and performance reports to senior management.




Identify gaps in the counselling process and implement improvements.
Ensure achievement of overall admission and revenue targets.

Preferred candidate profile
1 to 4+ years of experience in online counselling/admission counselling, preferably in EdTech or higher education.
Prior experience managing a counselling team or multiple Team Leaders will be preferred.
Strong experience in online student counselling and lead conversion.
Proven experience in achieving and managing sales/admission targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of online education, higher education, and admission processes.
Target-oriented with robust analytical and team-management skills.
Experience with CRM, lead management systems, and MIS reporting is preferred.
