Role Description
As a Machine Learning Intern (Students Only) at NexLevr, you will work full time in a remote capacity, collaborating with the engineering and research teams on data-driven projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collecting and preprocessing datasets, implementing and evaluating machine learning and deep learning models, and supporting experimentation and prototyping efforts. You will help analyze model performance, document findings, and contribute to improving algorithms and workflows.
The role also involves participating in code reviews, preparing technical reports or presentations, and staying current with relevant research to inform ongoing product development.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software development principles.
Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation, and feature engineering.
Experience or coursework in Deep Learning, including familiarity with neural networks and common architectures.
Background in Statistics, including probability, hypothesis testing, and statistical modeling.
Ability to design and analyze Algorithms relevant to data processing and model optimization.
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (students only).
Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in ML (such as Python), and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn).
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn from feedback.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Good written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical ideas clearly and concisely.
