Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Nursery-in-Charge to manage the day-to-day operations of our plant nursery under the Landscaping Division. The candidate will be responsible for plant health, nursery maintenance, inventory, manpower coordination, and ensuring the availability of quality plants for landscaping requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the nursery.
Plan and supervise plant propagation, cultivation, watering, pruning, fertilization, and maintenance.
Ensure proper care and healthy growth of plants, trees, shrubs, flowering plants, and other nursery stock.
Monitor plant health and identify/prevent pests, diseases, and other plant-related issues.
Maintain proper nursery hygiene, cleanliness, and organized plant arrangements.
Manage nursery inventory, including plants, pots, soil, fertilizers, pesticides, tools, and other materials.
Maintain records of plant availability, purchases, usage, and stock movement.




Coordinate with the Landscaping team regarding plant requirements and availability.
Supervise and allocate work to nursery workers and ensure proper manpower utilization.
Ensure timely watering, maintenance, shifting, and transportation of plants as required.
Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for procurement of plants, gardening materials, fertilizers, and other requirements.
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards within the nursery.
Prepare regular reports on nursery activities, plant stock, and requirements.
Take responsibility for the overall productivity and upkeep of the nursery.

Requirements
Graduate or Diploma Holder in Horticulture / Agriculture.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Nursery Management.
Valuable knowledge of plant care, propagation, irrigation, fertilizers, pesticides, and pest/disease management.
Experience in handling nursery workers and day-to-day nursery operations.
Positive organizational and coordination skills.
Willingness to work hands-on in the nursery setting.
Candidates with landscaping or large-scale nursery experience will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
