- The role as a Business Integrator sits between the IT team "Sustainability Control Tower (SCT) AMS" and the Sustainability team "Sustainability Reporting". The main purpose of the role is to improve and simplify communicate between the two functions, as they are vastly different. As SCT AMS consist mainly of technical developers and Sustainability Reporting consist of controllers, it is difficult for the function to communicate requirements between each other.

The functions are highly dependent on each other as SCT AMS is building a system for Sustainability reporting, therefore the role of a business integrator is crucial.

- Concrete tasks for a Business integrator:

- Bridge communication gap between Sustainability Reporting & SCT AMS

- Translate sustainability requirements from Sustainability reporting to SCT AMS.

- Translate technical requirements between SCT AMS to Sustainability reporting in an understandable manner.

- Carry the message in toSKF organization that data needed for sustainability reporting need to be treated with same reference and matter of fact as the data needed by finance

- Mediator in discussionsbetween the functions, highlighting key points and prioritizing activities.

- Lead and coordinate alignment calls between the functions
N
- Document decisions and processes concerning Sustainability Reporting & SCT AMS functions.

- The business Integratoralso plays a role for alignment between the Sustainability and IT function, although there are established communication channels between the two.
