About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Purchase Executive to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will handle day-to-day procurement operations, process departmental indents, liaise with medical and pharmaceutical vendors, and maintain uninterrupted supplies across our clinical and administrative departments.
Key Responsibilities
PO Processing: Convert internal requisitions from OT, ICU, OPD, Pharmacy, and Admin into ERP-generated Purchase Orders.
Vendor Coordination: Communicate with medical suppliers and pharma distributors regarding quotations, order statuses, and delivery schedules.
Commercial Analysis: Gather vendor quotations and prepare price comparison sheets (C-Sheets).
Stock Monitoring: Track pending orders and coordinate deliveries to prevent stockouts of critical medical consumables and surgical items.
Goods Receipt & Reconciliation: Work with the hospital store team to reconcile Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), POs,
and vendor invoices before submission to finance.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain audit-ready procurement files, vendor records, compliance certificates, and expiry logs.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Graduate degree in any discipline (Certification in Supply Chain or Materials Management is an added advantage).
Experience: 0 to 1 year in hospital procurement, pharmaceutical inventory, or store operations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (basic formulas, data entry) and familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or ERP modules (SAP, Tally, or similar).
Key Skills: Basic understanding of healthcare inventory (medical consumables, surgical supplies, and capital equipment), solid communication, and high attention to detail.
