Role & responsibilities :
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components and finished products.
Inspect dimensions, tolerances, workmanship, and specifications as per approved drawings and quality standards.
Operate and maintain inspection equipment such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Gauges, and other measuring instruments.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, check sheets, test reports, and quality records.
Identify, segregate, and report non-conforming materials/products and raise NCRs wherever required.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams for defect analysis and corrective actions.
Verify material identification, traceability, and required inspection/test certificates.
Ensure measuring instruments used for inspection are calibrated and within validity.




Support internal/customer inspections, audits, and quality improvement activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable ISO procedures, company quality standards, drawings, and customer requirements.

Required Skills &

Competencies :
Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and inspection methods
Hands-on experience with measuring instruments
Knowledge of QC inspection procedures and documentation
Basic knowledge of NCR, CAPA, root-cause analysis, and quality systems
Positive observation and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
