Employment: Full time / Permanent

Location: Mazumdar Shaw Medical Centre.

Key Clinical Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage adult patients with:
Acute myeloid and lymphoblastic leukaemias
Lymphomas
Multiple myeloma and plasma-cell disorders
Myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative neoplasms
Aplastic anaemia and bone-marrow failure syndromes
Other malignant and complex haematological disorders
Provide comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, day-care and emergency haemato-oncology services.
Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating chemotherapy, immunotherapy,



targeted therapy and other contemporary treatment modalities.
Perform and/or supervise bone marrow aspiration and trephine biopsy, lumbar puncture and intrathecal chemotherapy where appropriate.
Interpret and integrate peripheral blood, bone marrow, flow cytometry, cytogenetic and molecular diagnostic findings.
Provide specialist transfusion and supportive-care guidance in collaboration with Transfusion Medicine.
Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards and disease-specific clinical meeting
