Job Responsibilities:

· Operate and monitor the Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) machine for PEB structural members.

· Perform welding of built-up H-sections and other structural steel components as per approved welding procedures.

· Set and adjust welding parameters, including current, voltage, travel speed, and wire feed.

· Ensure proper fit-up, alignment, welding sequence, and weld penetration.

· Monitor welding quality and identify defects such as undercut, porosity, lack of fusion, and incomplete penetration.

· Carry out routine machine checks and report any machine-related issues.

· Maintain proper housekeeping and follow plant safety procedures.

· Coordinate with fit-up, production, and QC teams to achieve production and quality targets.

· Ensure production is completed as per daily/monthly targets.





Experience: 2–5 years of experience in SAW operation, preferably in PEB/Structural Steel Fabrication.

Qualification: ITI/Diploma or relevant technical experience.

Candidate Requirements

· Experience in a PEB/structural steel fabrication workplace will be preferred.

· Good understanding of fabrication processes and quality requirements.

· Ability to work as per production schedules and quality standards.

· Robust focus on safety, productivity, and workmanship.

Pay: ₹15,436.26 - ₹30,339.78 per month
