Role & responsibilities
Lead, manage, and motivate a team of online counsellors.
Handle and guide counsellors in student counselling and admission conversion.
Counsel students/prospects through calls, WhatsApp, and other online channels.
Monitor leads, follow-ups, conversions, and individual team performance.
Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly admission targets.
Provide regular training and coaching to counsellors on counselling techniques and course/university knowledge.
Monitor call quality and ensure proper follow-up with prospective students.
Handle escalations and resolve student queries effectively.
Prepare and share team performance reports with management.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth admission process.

Preferred candidate profile




1 to 4+ years of experience in online counselling/admission counselling, preferably in EdTech or higher education.
Prior experience as a Team Leader/Assistant Team Leader will be preferred.
Robust experience in online student counselling and lead conversion.
Excellent communication and convincing skills.
Target-oriented with robust follow-up and team-management abilities.
Valuable understanding of online courses, higher education, and admission processes.
Comfortable working with CRM/lead management systems and performance reports.
