Workday Functional Lead - Financial Management systems

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Lead FINS with robust expertise in Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning. The ideal candidate will have a solid finance functional background, hands-on experience in Workday business process configuration, and the ability to lead functional activities across implementation, testing, production support, and release management.

Role Details

Experience: 7+ Yrs

Location: Bangalore/Chennai

Shift: 1.30pm to 10.30pm

Mode: 5 days' work from office

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Key Responsibilities
Lead functional activities for Workday Financials (FINS), including business process configuration, testing, and production support.
Work closely with finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.




Configure and support finance-related business processes across Expenses, Procurement, Projects, Supplier Processes, and Customer Processes.
Support Month-End Close activities, finance operations, reporting, and data-related requirements.
Work with Workday Adaptive Planning to support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A-related; processes.
Prepare and execute UAT, coordinate defect resolution, and ensure business readiness.
Support production handoffs, deployment activities, and Workday release management.
Collaborate with technical teams on integrations and data exchange using EIB.
Provide functional guidance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth delivery of Workday Finance solutions.
