Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Dentist role based at Cosmodent India’s Gurugram clinic.

The General

Dentist will examine and diagnose patients’ oral health conditions, develop treatment plans, and perform procedures such as fillings, root canals, extractions, preventive care, and minor restorative work. The role includes educating patients on oral hygiene practices, advising on treatment options, and ensuring a high standard of clinical safety and infection control.

Qualifications

- Recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree; MDS or specialization in a dental discipline is an advantage.
- Valid dental registration/license with the appropriate regulatory body in India.
- Proficiency in general dental procedures, including diagnosis, restorative treatments, endodontics (root canals), preventive care, and basic oral surgery.
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols, clinical safety standards, and use of modern dental equipment and materials.
- Ability to provide clear, empathetic patient communication, including treatment explanations, consent discussions, and post-procedure guidance.
- Experience working in a modern, technology-enabled clinic environment; familiarity with digital dental records and imaging systems is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with dental assistants, hygienists, specialists, and administrative staff.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education, skill enhancement, and adoption of new techniques aligned with clinic standards.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage a steady patient flow without compromising care quality.
