Role Description The Freighter Weight and Balance role at AGOS Aviation is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for calculating, preparing, and verifying weight and balance data for freighter aircraft, ensuring safe and compliant loading in line with airline and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing cargo and baggage manifests, coordinating with loadmasters, ground handling teams, and operations staff, and preparing load sheets and trim sheets.

The position also involves monitoring cargo distribution, optimizing payload and center of gravity, updating documentation systems,



and promptly addressing any discrepancies or operational issues. The individual will adhere to safety protocols, support on-time departures, and contribute to continuous improvement of load planning and operational procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of aircraft loading principles, weight and balance calculations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Proficiency with airline operations systems, load control software, and documentation tools used for manifests, load sheets, and trim sheets.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to analyze data under time constraints in a high-pressure operational setting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with loadmasters, station management, ground handling teams, and airline operations staff.
- Knowledge of aviation safety standards, regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures related to cargo operations.
- Relevant experience in cargo or freighter operations, ramp or load control, or airline station management is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, including shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by flight schedules.
- Formal education in aviation, logistics, engineering, or a related field is beneficial; industry certifications in load control or aviation safety are an advantage.
