Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tandoori Chef who can prepare high-quality tandoori and North Indian dishes while maintaining excellent taste, consistency, presentation, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare a variety of Tandoori and North Indian dishes as per the menu.
Handle and operate the tandoor safely and efficiently.
Prepare items such as Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Seekh Kebab, Malai Tikka, Paneer Tikka, Tandoori Paneer, Naan, Roti, and other tandoori breads.
Prepare proper marinades, sauces, chutneys, and spice mixes.
Ensure consistent taste, texture, portion size, and presentation.
Manage daily mise-en-place and ensure timely food preparation.
Check the quality and freshness of raw materials before use.
Maintain proper temperature and cooking time for all tandoori items.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor and kitchen area.
Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.




Maintain proper storage of ingredients and follow FIFO practices.
Assist in developing and improving tandoori menu items when required.

Candidate Requirements
Experience: 2–5 years as a Tandoori Chef or relevant position.
Solid knowledge of Tandoori and North Indian cuisine.
Good knowledge of marinades, spices, grilling, roasting, and tandoor cooking techniques.
Ability to prepare both vegetarian and non-vegetarian tandoori dishes.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently during busy hours.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Should be punctual, disciplined, and responsible.
Hotel Management / Culinary qualification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate A hands-on Tandoori Chef with robust knowledge of tandoor operations who can independently manage tandoori preparation while maintaining excellent taste, quality, hygiene, and presentation. Work Location: Mohali, Punjab

Salary: Rs.20,000 to Rs. 22,000/- per month

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
