iitjobs is looking for a Systems / Infrastructure Engineering role supporting AI/ML with a solid understanding of server infrastructure, system architecture, and Linux-based environments. The ideal candidate will help design, deploy, maintain, and scale the backend infrastructure powering on the Client's platform, with a focus on reliability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain server infrastructure supporting Client’s platform.
Work with bare-metal servers, compute infrastructure, storage, and networking.
Administer and troubleshoot Linux-based systems and server environments.
Support and optimize infrastructure for compute-intensive workloads, including ML inference and scientific computing.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and improve reliability and scalability.




Collaborate with engineering teams on system architecture, capacity planning, and infrastructure automation.

Required Skills
2–4 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Server Engineer, or similar role.
Robust understanding of server administration and system architecture.
Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems.
Valuable understanding of network architecture, TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and firewalls.
Understanding of bare-metal infrastructure and physical server environments.
Experience supporting compute-intensive workloads, such as ML inference, AI workloads, HPC, or scientific computing.

Good to Have
Experience with GPU servers / NVIDIA infrastructure.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience working with high-performance computing or AI/ML infrastructure.
