Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Field Geologist to spearhead the on-ground geo-mapping and detailed survey for our newly acquired mining block located in District Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. The candidate will work directly under the guidance and supervision of a Senior Geologist, executing comprehensive surface mapping, structural data collection, and systematic sampling programs to establish a robust geological database.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

● Detailed Surface Geo-Mapping: Systematically map rock outcrops, lithological contacts, structural features (faults, shears, joints), and mineralized zones using high-resolution base maps, DGPS, and geological compasses.

● Trenching and Pitting Supervision: Oversee exploratory trenching and pitting operations, logging sub-surface lithology, weathering profiles,



and mineral continuity foot-by-foot.

● Field Data Management: Maintain meticulous field notebooks, geotagged photo logs, and digitize field observations into standard GIS formats (QGIS/ArcGIS) for review by the Senior Geologist.

● Field Logistics & Safety: Ensure all exploration activities adhere to safety standards. Manage the maintenance and correct usage of field tools, including GPS/DGPS, geological hammers, clinometers, and other surveying equipment.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
