Company: Wybit AI (https://wybit.ai/)
Role: EMR & AI Workflow Product Specialist
Location: Remote
Type: Full time
Company Description:
Wybit is building an AI layer that makes existing healthcare EMRs smarter.
Our goal is not to replace the EMR. We want to understand how physicians and staff use the EMR today, identify the repetitive and frustrating workflows, and use AI and automation to dramatically reduce administrative work.
Wybit is focused on outpatient cardiology, gastroenterology, and ambulatory surgery centers, with a particular focus on eClinicalWorks (eCW).
Role Description:
We are looking for an experienced EMR Workflow & Product Specialist who deeply understands healthcare workflows and has hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks.
You will work directly with our physicians, engineers, and product team to translate real-world clinical workflows into AI-powered workflows, automation, and product requirements.
You should be the person who can look at an eCW workflow and say:
“This is what the physician is doing now, this is why it is inefficient, this is what the staff has to do manually, and this is how AI could eliminate or automate these steps.”
You will be expected to become one of Wybit’s internal experts on eCW.
Deep technical programming experience is not required, but you must be comfortable working with engineers and understanding APIs, data flows and interoperability concepts.
Qualifications:
Required
- Significant hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks
- Strong understanding of outpatient clinical workflows
- Ability to understand how physicians, nurses, MAs, front-office staff and billing teams interact with an EMR
- Ability to document workflows clearly
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate with both clinicians and software engineers
- Passion for using AI to eliminate unnecessary administrative work
Strongly Preferred
- Experience in cardiology, gastroenterology, or ambulatory surgery
- Experience implementing or optimizing eCW
- Knowledge of HL7/FHIR
- Understanding of healthcare APIs and interoperability
- Experience with AI/ambient documentation
- Experience with RCM/prior authorization/fax workflows
- Experience working with healthcare SaaS products
- Experience translating clinical workflows into software requirement
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 90 days, you should be able to:
1. Map the major workflows of an eCW-based medical practice.
2. Identify the 20–30 highest-value opportunities for AI automation.
3. Prioritize those opportunities based on physician time saved, staff time saved, revenue impact and implementation complexity.
4. Create detailed workflow specifications for the engineering team.
5. Help Wybit build AI workflows that work within the physician’s existing EMR rather than forcing physicians to learn another system.
