Most budgeting apps tell you where your money went after you've already spent it. PaisaProof helps you pause at the moment of spending and understand the future opportunity cost of that purchase.

We're an early-stage startup, and we're currently focused on finding our first real users, understanding their behavior, and figuring out what makes PaisaProof genuinely useful.

About the RoleWe're looking for a Growth & User Research Intern to work directly with the founder and help us take PaisaProof from early users to meaningful adoption.

Your main goal will be to help us answer:

Who needs PaisaProof, how do we reach them, and what makes them keep using it?

You'll work on:

- Finding and reaching potential PaisaProof users
- Conducting user interviews and collecting feedback
- Understanding why people install, use or uninstall the app
- Running growth and user acquisition experiments
- Testing different channels, content and messaging
- Tracking metrics such as installs, activation and retention
- Identifying friction in onboarding and product usage
- Suggesting product improvements based on real user feedback
- Managing small growth experiments from idea to execution
- Sharing what worked, what didn't, and what we should try next

This is not a traditional social media internship. We're looking for someone who wants to understand how a product actually grows from 0 → 1.

What We're Looking For

- Curious, proactive and willing to experiment
- Comfortable talking to potential users and asking questions
- Good communication and analytical skills
- Comfortable with rejection and trying different approaches
- Able to take ownership without constant supervision
- Interest in startups, consumer apps, personal finance or fintech




- Ability to think creatively and execute quickly

Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with marketing, growth or sales
- Built or grown a social media page or community
- Worked on a startup or side project
- Experience conducting user interviews
- Basic knowledge of analytics
- Experience creating content or running growth experiments

Compensation & Duration₹8,000–₹12,000 per month + performance incentives Duration: 3 months The final stipend will depend on experience and interview performance.

A Note About This RoleWe're early.

Not every experiment will work. Some ideas will fail, and some users won't care. That's part of building a product from scratch.

We're looking for someone who finds that exciting.

If you want a highly structured internship with predefined tasks every day, this may not be the right role.
