Garage Equipment Technician Role:
Primary Role: A Technician at ATS ELGI (a subsidiary of ELGI Equipment that specializes in automotive garage equipment and servicing tools) is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing specialized automotive equipment. This ranges from vehicle lifts, wheel aligners, and tire changers to body shop equipment, washing systems, and air compressors.

Location: Field-based Delhi-NCR, Hisar (Client sites, service centers, automotive dealerships)

Key Tasks:
Installation & Commissioning: Install, set up, and test garage equipment (lift platforms, wheel alignment machines, tire changers, paint booths, washing systems) at customer locations.
Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular servicing and scheduled health checks on equipment to minimize downtime for clients.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:



Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Repair or replace defective components promptly.
Calibration: Calibrate precision equipment (e.g., 3D wheel aligners, digital wheel balancers) to ensure accurate operational specifications.
Customer Training: Demonstrate proper equipment operation, safety guidelines, and routine maintenance practices to dealership staff or garage mechanics.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain service logs, complete work orders, log replaced parts, and report critical technical feedback to supervisors.
