The role
We’re hiring a Director of Growth to win expand clients for zazzy and build our new-business function as we scale. This is a revenue-owning role: you own the full sales cycle, from finding the right companies and starting conversations to developing proposals, negotiating terms and closing business.
Your focus will be fast-growing companies dealing directly with founders, CEOs and heads of marketing as a peer, understand their business, assess whether our services fit, and make the case for an ongoing marketing engagement.
What you’ll own
- Research target companies and decision-makers, build prospect lists,
and create sales opportunities through relevant email, LinkedIn and phone outreach.
- Run discovery calls to understand business needs, budget, decision-makers and buying timelines. Qualify opportunities and recognise when there isn’t a fit.
- Work with the strategy and delivery teams to prepare proposals with clear scope, outcomes and commercial terms that the team can deliver.
- Present proposals, handle objections, negotiate within agreed commercial boundaries, and follow opportunities through to signed engagements.
- Keep CRM records current, with accurate deal stages, values, next steps and expected close dates. Report on pipeline, wins, losses and revenue against agreed targets.
- Hand over new clients with clear briefs and documented commitments. Share buyer feedback with marketing and delivery to improve future pitches.
