Valid Registration with the respective State Medical Counciln
1–3 years of experience in a hospital or clinical settingn
Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekendsn

nJob Summary:
nThe Duty Medical Officer (DMO) is responsible for providing round-the-clock medical care to inpatients and emergency cases, ensuring timely assessment, treatment, and coordination with consultants. The role supports high-quality patient care while adhering to hospital protocols and NABH standards.
nKey Responsibilities:

Assess and manage patients in OPD, IPD, and Emergency under the guidance of consultants.n




Provide immediate medical care for emergencies and stabilize patients before referral, if required.n
Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.n
Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and allied healthcare specialists for continuity of care.n
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations.n
Ensure timely admission, discharge, and referral processes.n
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and NABH standards.n
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.n
Participate in clinical audits, CMEs, and quality improvement initiatives.n
