We are looking for an experienced Bakery and Pastry Chef for a growing food and beverage business in Dehradun.

The candidate must have hands-on experience in making breads, cakes, pastries and desserts. The chef will be responsible for daily production and maintaining consistent taste, quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare breads, buns and other baked products
- Make cakes, pastries, tarts and desserts
- Prepare croissants and other laminated products
- Handle creams, fillings, frostings and chocolate work
- Make celebration and customised cakes
- Follow standard recipes and portion sizes
- Assist in developing new products and seasonal menus
- Plan daily production according to requirements
- Maintain consistent taste and presentation
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Manage stock and control wastage
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and food-safety standards
- Train and guide junior team members

Candidate Requirements




- Prior experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, café, restaurant or hotel is required
- Good knowledge of breads, cakes, pastries and desserts
- Knowledge of croissants and laminated dough will be preferred
- Experience in both individual pastries and bulk production
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
- Creative, organised and willing to learn
- Willing to relocate to Dehradun
- Candidates from Uttarakhand will be preferred
