Role Description The Commi 3 role is a full-time, in office position based at Holiday Inn in Trivandrum. The individual in this role supports the kitchen team in daily food preparation, cooking, and plating under the guidance of senior chefs.

Responsibilities include following standardized recipes, preparing mise en place,



maintaining high hygiene and safety standards, and ensuring the kitchen and workstations are clean and organized. The Commi 3 also assists in receiving and storing ingredients, minimizing food waste, and helping with buffet setup or à la carte service as required. This role requires close collaboration with colleagues to deliver consistent food quality and a positive guest dining experience.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in food preparation and basic cooking techniques with developing culinary skills.
- Commitment to hygiene, food safety standards, and cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with chefs, servers, and other team members.
- Ability to follow instructions, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to different kitchen sections.
- Prior experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is an advantage.
- Relevant culinary education or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
