Role Description This is a full-time, in office Chartered Accountant (mid level) role based in Thane.

The Chartered

Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining books of accounts, preparing financial statements, and managing general ledger activities. The role involves overseeing statutory compliance such as taxation, GST, TDS, and other regulatory filings, as well as supporting audits and responding to auditor queries. The professional will prepare management reports, budgets, and forecasts, analyze financial performance, and provide insights to support business decisions and productivity initiatives.





Additional responsibilities include reviewing project financials for consulting engagements, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting.

Qualifications

- Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant with mid-level experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong skills in general accounting, financial statement preparation, and ledger reconciliation.
- Knowledge of direct and indirect taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances relevant to consulting and service industries.
- Experience in audit support, including internal audits, statutory audits, and compliance reviews.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support management decision-making.
- Comfort with accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP or cloud-based finance tools is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Prior experience in consulting, safety services, or professional services firms is preferred but not mandatory.
