Financial Planning &
- Analysis (FP&A;)
Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecastsBuild data-driven financial models for revenue, cost, and capital allocationDrive variance analysis, identify key business drivers, and recommend corrective actionsEstablish KPI dashboards across business units (composites, technical textiles, filtration, etc.)Strengthen decision support systems using analytics and digital tools
Strategic Finance &
- GrowthPartner with CEO and leadership team on business strategy and capital allocationEvaluate new business opportunities, capex investments, and M&A; initiativesLead scenario planning and risk analysis for expansion into new markets/productsSupport pricing strategies and margin optimizationDrive return on capital (ROCE) improvement initiatives
Business Finance (Commercial Finance)Act as a strategic business partner to BU heads and operations teamsEnable profitability analysis by product line, geography, and customer segmentDrive cost optimization programs across manufacturing and supply chainMonitor working capital (inventory, receivables, payables) and cash flow efficiencySupport sales and operations planning (S&OP;) with financial insights
Finance &
- Accounts LeadershipOversee accounting, financial reporting, and statutory complianceEnsure timely and accurate financial statements as per Ind AS / IFRSManage audits, taxation,
and regulatory complianceEstablish strong internal controls and governance frameworksLead finance transformation initiatives (ERP upgrades, automation, digitization)
Treasury &
- Capital ManagementManage cash flow, banking relationships, and funding strategyOptimize capital structure and cost of capitalOversee forex risk management, especially for export-driven businessEnsure liquidity for capex-heavy manufacturing operations
Manufacturing &
- Industrial Finance FocusDrive financial oversight of multi-plant manufacturing operationsMonitor plant-level profitability, cost absorption, and efficiency metricsEvaluate capex projects, asset utilization, and payback periodsImplement standard costing and variance tracking systems
Leadership &
- Stakeholder ManagementBuild and lead a high-performance finance teamEngage with Board of Directors, investors, auditors, and lendersSupport potential IPO readiness / demerger transition requirements The Successful Applicant A successful CFO applicant should have:
CA with 15-18 years of experience, with at least 5-7 years in senior finance leadership roles
ExperienceStrong background in manufacturing / industrial / materials sectorProven expertise in: FP&A; and business financeStrategic finance and capital allocationMulti-plant operations financeExperience in demerger, IPO, or transformation environments is a plus
