Duties and Responsibilities of Heavy Vehicle Driver - Eicher
Operation of the 1 School Bus
Safely operate the Eicher buses used for student transportation.
Daily Vehicle Inspection
Conduct daily checks before operating the buse.
Inspect engine oil, coolant, brake oil, clutch oil, and power steering oil levels.
Check tyres, tyre pressure, brakes, headlights, indicators, horn, and wipers.
Ensure adequate fuel is available before trips.
Maintenance of Bus
Coordinate with mechanics and ensure that servicing is completed properly.
Record Keeping.
Maintain a record of servicing, repairs, oil changes, and parts replacement for each bus.
Ensure vehicle documents such as insurance, fitness certificate, registration, and pollution certificate are valid and up to date.
Cleanliness and Upkeep
Ensure buses are kept clean both inside and outside.
Periodically inspect seats, windows, and interior fittings.
