Position Title: Chemist - LCM

Level: Junior Staff

Reporting To:Lead Life Cycle management

Position Purpose:
Chemist - LCM are responsible for managing and helping ongoing lab exp. related to troubleshooting, yield improvement, waste reduction, solvent reduction, quality improvement and time cycle reduction efficiently to ensure targeted productivity and timely delivery of products. LCM lab Chemist also helping in wastes management and PPE management in lab.

Strategic Responsibilities:
Helping to achieve target with in committed time line

Operational Responsibilities:
Lab support for ongoing LCM lab exp. as per instruction in respective shifts.
Monitoring and maintaining of the exp. process parameters as per instructions.
As per instruction exp. to be start in respective shifts as per regular plant SOP.
Maintain lab note book (LNB) and ongoing lab experiment to be record in LNB with proper exp. observations.

Following lab safety procedures and ensure adherence to Cardinal Rules of the organization.
Basic knowledge of process safety standards (MSDS) & general industry standards.
Ensure smooth & secure working of section to achieve high productivity and safety norms of the lab.
Participating in improvement of lab exp. through suggestion scheme.
Following requirements of Responsible Care standards.
Use of Personal protective equipment as per the defined procedure.
Handling of hazardous chemical/substance & its operations.
Knowledge of Environmental impact of any abnormal situation and its control measures.
Awareness of Emergency situation & its handling procedure.
Evaluate the risk before approaching work / operation.
Practice valuable housekeeping.
