Job Summary

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring proper storage and movement of materials. The role includes handling billing activities independently, including GST invoicing, entries, and compliance, along with coordinating with stores, accounts, and other departments for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of stock
Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records
Issue materials against approved requisitions
Monitor stock levels and purchase requirements in coordination with accounts
Perform periodic physical stock verification
Maintain inward and outward registers / stock ledger
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports
Coordinate with accounts and operations teams
Handle billing activities independently, including GST invoicing, input/output tax entries, and documentation
Ensure proper documentation for all stock and billing transactions




Maintain cleanliness and systematic arrangement of stores

Skills & Requirements
Strong knowledge of inventory and stock management
Positive knowledge of billing and GST compliance processes
Working knowledge of MS Excel and inventory software
Knowledge of Tally is an added advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Valuable attention to detail and accuracy
Solid organizational and record-keeping skills

Qualifications
Minimum: B.Com
Preferred: B.Com with Logistics / Supply Chain specialization

Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in Store/Inventory Management
Experience in billing, GST, and stock reconciliation is required
Experience in handling medical or healthcare inventory is an added advantage

Additional Requirements
Knowledge of stock control, audit, and GST procedures
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments
Capable of handling high-volume inventory environments
