We are looking for a highly intelligent, proactive, and results-driven Business Operations Manager to work closely with senior management and oversee cross-functional operations, employee performance, recruitment evaluation, interviews, and process improvement.

This is not a traditional administrative, coordination, or routine project management position. We need a strong problem-solver and decision-maker who can quickly grasp different business functions, identify operational bottlenecks, challenge outdated processes, evaluate talent, and implement practical solutions.

Your scope will span multiple functions including SEO, AI/Software Development, Social Media, Recruitment, eCommerce, and general operations. While you do not need to be a hands-on technical expert in every domain, you must be capable of rapidly understanding technical and business concepts and determining whether a team member or candidate genuinely knows their work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cross-Functional Interviewing & Hiring Support

- Conduct and participate in rigorous interviews for both technical and non-technical roles (SEO, AI, Python/software development, social media, recruitment, and eCommerce).
- Design practical, situational interview questions that test real-world knowledge, problem-solving ability, and ownership rather than standard scripted answers.
- Filter out candidates who exaggerate their experience, ensuring zero wasted time on weak profiles.
- Deliver clear, actionable interview feedback and hiring recommendations to senior leadership.

2. Employee & Performance Management

- Monitor team performance, productivity, accountability, and the quality of output across departments.
- Identify performance gaps, operational friction, and root causes of underperformance.
- Ensure transparent alignment on responsibilities, deliverables, and expectations across teams.
- Identify employees requiring targeted support or performance management, and escalate serious issues with practical recommendations.

3. Operations Management & Process Improvement

- Manage, optimize,



and scale day-to-day cross-functional operations.
- Replace inefficient workflows with streamlined systems, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and transparent reporting mechanisms.
- Cut down unnecessary meetings and repetitive administrative tasks to maximize organizational velocity.
- Take absolute ownership of operational roadblocks from identification through to permanent resolution.

4. Strategy & Problem Solving

- Analyze business challenges independently, drilling down to root causes rather than treating surface symptoms.
- Research, recommend, and implement AI tools, automation, and productivity technologies to supercharge output.
- Challenge ineffective legacy processes and champion innovative, high-efficiency workflows.

5. Senior Management Support

- Act as a trusted extension of senior leadership on critical business priorities and special projects.
- Prepare concise reports, track strategic initiatives, and ensure flawless follow-through across departments.

Required Skills & Competencies
- 6 years of professional experience in business operations, management consulting, program management, or agency/startup operations.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- High emotional intelligence with strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to understand new, complex business or technical concepts at lightning speed.
- Proven experience evaluating talent, conducting interviews, and managing cross-functional teams.
- Fearless attitude toward challenging assumptions and asking difficult questions.
- Extreme ownership, accountability, and execution focus with minimal supervision.

Preferred Background




- Candidates with backgrounds in Business Operations, Management Consulting, Program/Project Management, eCommerce Operations, Digital Operations, or Startup/Agency Operations.
- Prior hands-on experience working directly with founders, CEOs, or executive leadership.
