Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly disciplined Operations & Warehouse In-charge to lead our factory floor and inventory management. This is a high-activity role requiring a presence on the shop floor. You will be responsible for the "Physical Reality" of our factory—ensuring every material is accounted for, assembly is lean, and every dispatch is error-free. You act as the critical bridge between the Shop Floor, Customers, and the Accounting department.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Assembly Planning:Create and release daily assembly plans by 10:00 AM. Coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure zero worker downtime and maximum machine utilization.
Inventory Integrity & Auditing:Conduct physical stock audits to ensure Zero Mismatch with Tally. Manage "Safety Stock" levels for packaging (boxes, tape, labels) and consumables to ensure a buffer is always maintained.
Quality Control (QC):Act as a gatekeeper for quality. Perform visual and dimension checks (up to 0.05mm precision) on technical components (e.g., Brass fittings).
Maintain the QC Register and reject non-spec material at the gate and report to Management.
Documentation:Generate and sign-off on GRNs; Packing Lists etc and ensure these are handed over to the Accounts team daily.
Logistics & Dispatch Control:Manage transporter relationships and daily pickups. Physically cross-check every packing list against the actual box contents and the Invoice. Verify, stamp, and file LR (Lorry Receipt) copies immediately.
MIS & Reporting: Prepare in Excel or google sheets MIS as per requirements
Coordinator: Productive and explicit coordination between Accounts, various shop floor teams and customers.
5S & Shop Floor Discipline:Enforce a "Place for Everything" culture. Supervise a daily 15-minute "Warehouse Sweep" to ensure the facility is clean and organised at all times.
