Urgent requirement for Junior Interior Designer

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to support our design and execution team in healthcare projects (hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers). The role involves assisting senior designers in planning, designing, and executing functional, compliant, and aesthetically pleasing healthcare spaces.

Junior designers typically work under senior specialists and support the full design lifecycle—from concept to execution.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Design & Planning
Assist in concept development, space planning, and layout design
Prepare 2D drawings, working drawings, and basic 3D views
Develop mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations
Support in furniture, fixtures & equipment (FF&E;) selection
(Junior designers commonly contribute to layouts, drawings, and presentations as part of the design process.)_
Execution Support
Coordinate with site team for design implementation
Assist in site visits, measurements, and progress tracking




Ensure design compliance with healthcare standards and safety norms
Support BOQ preparation and basic costing inputs
Coordination
Work closely with Architects, Senior Designers, and Project Managers
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers
Assist in procurement and material selection
(Coordination with vendors and contractors is a key part of junior designer roles.)_
Documentation
Prepare drawings, presentations, and documentation sets
Maintain project files, material records, and design updates
Assist in creating client presentations and revisions
Research & Learning
Research healthcare design trends, materials, and technologies
Learn NABH / healthcare compliance basics
Continuously upgrade software and technical skills

Key Skills Required
Knowledge of space planning and design fundamentals
Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory):
Working knowledge of SketchUp
