Cashier

We are looking cashier who is responsible for processing customer payments accurately, handling cash and card transactions, scanning items, and providing excellent customer service. Key duties include managing the cash register, issuing receipts, handling returns/exchanges, maintaining a clean checkout area, and greeting customers to enhance their shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Accurately scanning products, operating point-of-sale (POS) systems, and managing cash, credit, and debit payments.
Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, providing product information, and resolving complaints politely.
Cash Management: Counting the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts to ensure accuracy.
Merchandise Handling: Bagging, boxing, or wrapping purchased items, as well as handling returns and exchanges.
Store Maintenance: Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.





Required Skills and Qualifications
Basic Math Skills: Ability to handle money, make change, and process transactions quickly.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: A friendly, qualified demeanor for interacting with customers.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring pricing accuracy and preventing transaction errors.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic equipment like cash registers, scanners, and card terminals.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift items, depending on the retail setting.

Common Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is usually preferred.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is often desired.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
