Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Resident Counselling Psychologist who is willing to stay at the centre premises and provide psychological assessment, counselling, and therapy services to patients undergoing psychiatric and de-addiction treatment.
The psychologist will work closely with psychiatrists, medical officers, and rehabilitation staff to support patients in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Psychological Assessment
Conduct psychological assessments and case history evaluations.
Identify emotional, behavioural, and addiction-related issues.
Assist in treatment planning with the multidisciplinary team.
Individual & Group Counselling
Provide one-on-one counselling sessions.
Conduct group therapy sessions for addiction recovery.
Deliver relapse prevention and coping skills training.
Address anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioural disorders.
Family Counselling
Conduct family therapy sessions.
Provide guidance and psychoeducation to family members.
Support reintegration planning and discharge counselling.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed case notes and therapy progress reports.
Prepare assessment summaries and discharge reports.
Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards are maintained.
Rehabilitation & Recovery Support
Motivate patients for treatment adherence.
Conduct awareness sessions and life skills workshops.
Support behaviour modification programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
MA / MSc in Psychology (Clinical / Counselling) - Mandatory
M.Phil in Clinical Psychology
RCI Registration (Preferred, if applicable)
Experience in De-addiction / Psychiatric setting
Freshers with solid counselling skills can apply
Willingness to stay at centre premises (Residential role compulsory)
