Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manual Diamond Grader to accurately grade, sort, and verify diamonds below 1.00 carat, including melee and small-sized stones, using manual visual grading techniques. The role requires a robust understanding of color, clarity, cut/make, fluorescence, and size verification, following company and international grading standards (GIA / IGI aligned).

Manually grade diamonds below 1.00 carat, including melee stones, rounds, and fancy shapes
Evaluate diamonds based on:
Color:
Clarity:
Cut / Make:
Fluorescence:
Size and minimum weight:
Perform grading using loupe (10x), microscope, tweezers, sieves, and master stones:
Maintain consistency while grading large volumes of small diamonds

Sorting & Matching




Accurately sort diamonds into defined quality ranges as per company standards
Match diamonds for uniformity in color, clarity, and size for jewellery manufacturing
Identify and separate off‑make, broken, chipped, or mixed stones

Quality Control & Verification
Cross‑check graded parcels for accuracy and consistency:
Detect treated, synthetic, HPHT, or CVD diamonds as per training and procedures
Ensure compliance with internal QC guidelines and customer requirements

Documentation & Reporting
Record grading results, sorting details, and discrepancies accurately
Maintain traceability and parcel integrity throughout the grading process
Support audits and internal checks when required

Productivity & Process Adherence
Achieve daily grading targets without compromising accuracy
