What Youll Be Doing (Position Summary):
CIBCs Communications team is responsible for managing all internal corporate-level communications to employees.As Senior Consultant, Communications, you will be responsible for helping to plan and execute communications supporting CIBC India.
Your primary focus will be on internal communications as you bring to life CIBC Indias mandate, strategic initiatives, and employee engagement activities, while fostering a strong connection with our team in Canada. This will include events planning and management, executive communications and engagement, and additional writing, editing and communications counsel around key initiatives at CIBC India. You will be working with partners across CIBCs Communications team to plan and execute employee events, produce videos and multimedia content, and influence communications plans for CIBC India.




Your focus will also be on providing foundational media relations support in India that would include assessing and evaluating the media landscape in Hyderabad as it relates to Global Capability Centers and the financial services industry. You will also be expected to help manage media inbounds and relationships with local media while being supported by CIBCs Public Relations team and, where needed, an external agency partner.

How Youll Succeed (Responsibilities):
- Communications and Multimedia Expertise Help lead the execution of strategic communications plans and events that support CIBC Indias initiatives, strategic priorities, and employee engagement activities.
