The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure, scalable, and automated DevOps practices across the software delivery lifecycle. The role collaborates with development teams, infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, and cybersecurity partners to streamline build, release, deployment, and environment management processes. The incumbent develops and maintains CI/CD pipelines, supports cloud and on-premises platforms, monitors system performance and reliability, and ensures solutions comply with CIBC's security, data governance, operational, and regulatory standards. The role also provides technical guidance on automation, deployment practices, and continuous improvement, while staying current with evolving DevOps tools, platform capabilities, and industry best practices.
